Broccoli with feta omelet


This is one of my favorite breakfast. Might not look that appetizing but I assure you, this is delish!

Calories: 390

Ingredients:
  • Olive oil
  • 1 cup chopped broccoli
  • 2 eggs (large), *beat the eggs prior to cooking
  • 2 tablespoons feta, crumbled
  • 1/4 tsp dried dill
  • 2 slices rye bread, toasted
1. Heat your non-stick pan over medium heat. Coat pan with just a bit of olive oil. Add broccoli, and cook 3 minutes.
2. Mix the eggs, feta cheese, and dill in a bowl. Add egg mixture to the broccoli in the pan. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes, flip the omelet and cook 2 minutes or until cooked through then serve with the toast.

Total time to prepare: Just about 15 minutes!
Yields 1 serving.

ShapeShifter Yoga


        So this is the last method I am going to share to you. But do come back here to read more and learn more as I will still be continuing this blog and sharing more stuff. I'll try to post pictures or videos of me doing my workouts or cooking. If you have questions, fell free to ask and I will try to answer all of them.

I mean, I was interested in yoga and I want to enroll in a class but didn't have the time so much like I was doing before, I decided to look online to see if I could learn online.        You might be asking, what made me interested in yoga in the first place? Well, I wanted a firmer butt. Hahaha. That was the initial thing that got me into this. It was only later that I learned about its power for weight loss, burning fat, improving sex life etc. Plus, what I like about yoga is the relaxed state it gives you. Before actually jumping to get this program, I tried some yoga techniques being given out for free. What I didn't like about them is that, some moves were really very difficult to maneuver and was really beyond my limit. With this program though, you are thought better and you will realize, yoga doesn't need to hurt.

       To give a brief summary of what this program gives you, it basically helps in weight loss, burning fat. etc but most importantly, it gives the best body shape for your frame. Well obviously that's where its name came from. Hahaha.

      I think I've said enough. My last statement for this program is that it is different from the yoga being thought to a friend of mine. Oh and by the way, she paid about $500 for that class. Lol.

Anabolic Cooking



          I mentioned in my last post that I love cooking. Now, this is my favorite cooking guide! I have a lot of this but this is the one that I am sharing here first. I got interested in this not because I want to build muscles but because I want my diet to be healthy as well. You see, the people who made Anabolic Cooking were focused on body builders. They use the Anabolic cooking technique to build large muscles. That is not really what I want. It turns out that, even if you are using this recipe's, if you are not really doing the kind of workout they are doing, you will be just fine and not have the muscles they do. Hahaha. But if by any chance you want to build big muscles using the anabolic cooking method, then by all means use it for that purpose.

         I included a sample recipe below of  the turkey bacon scramble which I really love having for breakfast. Note: the egg yolks are not wasted as I used it for another recipe. Lol.

Turkey Bacon Scramble

 Ingredients

- 8 Egg Whites
- 1/2 cup Red Onion, chopped
- 1 cup Muschrooms, sliced
- 1 cup Broccoli florets
- 1/2 cup Green Pepper, chopped
- 1 Scallion, minced
- 1 tbsp of Olive Oil
- 1/2 teaspoon Dried Oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon Dried Parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 3 slices Turkey Bacon, cut
- Salt and Pepper

Directions
1. Using a medium skillet coated lightly with olive oil – set to medium high heat – cook the onion, mushrooms, broccoli, scallion and green pepper until tender
2. In another skillet, cook turkey bacon.)
3. Add the eggs to the veggies and scramble until completely set. Then add a tablespoon of olive oil, and sprinkle garlic powder, oregano, parsley, salt and pepper. Stir and add the cut cooked turkey bacon

Now going back to the Anabolic cooking method, it really helped a lot in maintaining my fitness and health. This is not the only cooking book I have but this is my favorite and my main diet book. Not only is this a diet book but it also helps save on groceries as they have tips for that as well. Plus the recipe's are being updated for life so you won't be stucked with the same recipes over and over. Not a good cook? No worries, because the recipes are very easy and quick to prepare. You might be surprised like my friends when they saw me enjoying chicken nuggets. Hahaha.

Turbulence Training


             So as promised I will now share my not so secret fitness methods. What I did first was contact those who I've got these methods from and ask them if I could share it with you guys. Unfortunately, I cannot make videos of me for you to see how I am doing the workouts as it turns out, they are copyrighted or some sort of exclusive. I was saddened by this as it would limit my resources in sharing with you. I also cannot write about the specific techniques in the program so what I'm gonna do now is to write a review of the programs and as much as possible, give you information.

            First, I'll tell you what Turbulence Training is. This is actually a workout that you can do at home so you don't really need to join a gym or pay a personal trainer as the Turbulence Training program teaches you that. You also do not need to buy expensive training equipments for this and since you will not be using any cardio machines, the time spent doing the Turbulence Training workout would be lesser. This would be a very good advantage as your much-needed time can be spent doing more important things like your daily household chores, cooking (which I love very much) and spending time with loved ones.

            I must say that this is my main Fat burning method. I do not overdo it though because even if I want to stay fit, I am not the type who wants big muscles. Hahaha. I kinda like my belly flat but with no really visible ab muscles. How long did it take me to see results? I say, about 2 months as I was not really into this back then. I was just trying it out. But now, these are my main workout.

           These method by the way is made by Craig Ballantyne and what attracted my attention before was that this method is backed by a French-Canadian researcher and that you can boost fat loss by up to 450% using the turbulence training. I was like what??? I may not be good at math but 450% is still 450%. Lol. So I decided to give it a try. I submitted my email and joined the program. I really wanna tell you more but I guess this short review would suffice for now. I'll try to sneak in a video here with me doing turbulence training some other time. I welcome myself to the blogging world!



        Yay! I finally have a blog! Well, honestly, this is my first ever try on writing anything so do not expect much from me. I have also tried to avoid using social media until now except for watching funny stuff in YouTube and logging in to my ex-boyfriend's account to read what he is posting. Hahaha. Oh, don't get me wrong, we were still together when I was logging in to his account, of course, I stopped doing it now. So what made me write here? My friend Elise convinced me to do this. Back in high school, I was a shy chubby kid and not really that sociable. I admit it was my fault as I did not really made any effort to reach out to others. Fast forward to this day, where I have improved in terms of my interpersonal skills, I now have a lot of friends and I am active in my community. That's what is in my mind when I decided to try this but Elise is more interested in how I stay fit. How i lost weight and how I stop from gaining weight again. Hahaha. She was the brain behind this blog, she said I eat like a construction worker but I don't get fat. She always reminds me of how I looked back in high school and how I look now. I didn't like the idea but somehow got convinced because I think somehow, how they see me now also added to the confidence I have in myself to reach out more to people. Yes I got brainwashed by my friend. Hahaha.


      Now you know the story. The thing here is that, I wasn't really the one who came up with the methods I am going to share with you. I just got them from others too. I am not yet sure though how I would go about the sharing part as I am not really good in writing. As a matter of fact, while writing this second paragraph, I just found myself smiling as I do not have any idea how I could make this blog interesting. What I can promise you though is this, I am going to do (not only try) my best in coming up with new ideas while also sharing a part of my life.

      Join me in this new hobby that I am going in. I hope I can improve my writing skills (by now you would have noticed that I am not a native English speaker) while also entertaining you and somehow impart what little I know about staying fit, dieting, weight loss without sacrificing our ultimate goal which is to have a healthier body and an active lifestyle.
